Sad News for Wiccaways rescue

Read the article at the weekend in the dog papers regarding the plight of Wiccaways border collie rescue being let down by the miserable local council and given 28 days to get rid of all the dogs
I really hope that another property comes along quickly and the rescue continues their fantastic work they are doing.
Perhaps Wiccaways could keep us updated on how they are doing and if there's anything anyone can do to help

Good Luck

Didn't say a huge amount in the paper. I think from reading the article. They lease the property and were under the impression it was okay to run a rescue from there, but now the council have cracked down and said there are to be no rescue dogs on the property after the 28 days set. I think it's dreadful. They do such a good job.

really sorry to hear this, the council should be ashamed of themselves. Without places like that the onus would fall on the council anyway so they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.
