Hmmmm, obviously just a bit of eye-candy. As an actor, he makes a good doorstop! He can't act to save his life - his emotions run the gamut from A to B.

The director of "Black Hawk Down" had the right idea, and had him thrown out of a helicopter!

I have several DVDs in which he "stars" ("Troy", "Kingdom of Heaven", to name but 2) and he may as well be reading a phone book. He was OK as Legolas in LOTR, but then, Legolas is an elf, and doesn't have emotions, so Orlando's sole ability (to stare heroically into the distance) was fine for the part.

My little niece thinks he's the bee's knees, but then, she is only 14!
