Daily Thread, Wednesday, 18th April

Good morning one and all. Hope you are all well and Griff you have taken your chemo tablets.

Thanks everyone for the agents for rentals. The only one I haven't tried is Brenda's one for pets, so I will give it a try. I do not seem to be making much progress, never mind.

Have a good day all my lovely two and four legged friends, God bless.

Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Hope you manage to find somewhere suitable soon.

Be a good girl today Griff and take those awful tablets.

Lovely morning here. Teazle walked, bedding in machine and then must go and buy some paint for the ensuite and get a new ironing board as my one has died. Tomorrow I plan to tidy up another flower bed and sow some seeds.

Have a good day and stay safe.

good morning kiddiwinks

Sometime this week the bathroom company are supposed to be sending someone around to have a look at the en-suite refurb. we are having done next week. The company is so busy they are fully booked until the end of July. Yes a big job, the walls at the moment are double tiled , the toilet cistern won't stop flushing the Tardis (see below) is coming out. Completely new ceiling and heated towel rail re-sited as will be the lighting and switch. Floor up to lay new pipes for towel rail and shower waste. so a big job plus new wall tiles.

AS we are off on holiday in the near future I am trying to tell my legs they have to move more, walking is not my strong point when we have vehicles to do the job. it is not so much the legs that ache more the lower back.

Sue is splashing out spending on a new ironing board, the one she uses at the moment is held together with string, she hates spending money ,that's obvious, also some paint for the ensuite when it has been completed

the Tardis

even Captain Kirk of the star ship Enterprise would struggle with what does what , nothing works apart from overhead shower, the control knob was seized up before we came

So the heated towel rail is going on the wall opposite the door, all the existing tiles are on top of previous ones so all that is coming out. and the new shower unit is just going to be sliding glass door/fixed panel one on the left from the door frame to the back wall and the shower head unit on the door wall on the left..
Who wants a radio while having a shower? the previous owners did

Good girl griff. Do hope the appointment went well.
Knowing how long Gill use to have to wait over time it's not surprising they are late. Sorry i knew there was something else i should of mentioned but I just could not pull what it was from the back of my mind.

Good evening all.

What a gorgeous day. Lovely and sunny and, of course, warm. Just a teeshirt today .

Well done on taking the tablets, Kelly, and I hope your dad comes home with good news.

That bathroom looks like being a mammoth task. One set of tiles is bad enough, but two layers? You're going to have lots of mess to clean up.

Bathed and clipped Rosie today. Yes, I do know that Border Terriers are usually stripped, but she is a blue and tan and like many others, the wiry coat never fully developed so there'd never be a chance of stripping her. To be honest, it's so easy to clip her that I prefer it too
