That post was referring to the back garden not a small park, as already explained. The rest of us tend to manage very well walking in an 800 acre country park without giving the dogs an opportunity to eat poo fro most animals, although you have to be quick with Rabbit poo.

Fine. Manage away if you need to. I don't.

Ask away! All I did was respond to the original poster and then COBAR5 and you started questioning my replies, it's like you jump on my every post whether I'm replying to you or not and I was not before you started stalking me.

Whatever. Have it your way. Would any of your dogs eat poo given the chance?
Mine doesn't but he can run faster that I can. Much. So I would have little chance of picking up all the poo he might encounter. Apart from that he wanders in and out of the woods and undergrowth so he isn't always in line of sight. So, perhaps you might understand that I am a bit sceptical of your claim about you picking up all that other dogs' poo.

Can we leave it at that, please?

There you go again, I've never said I pick up any other dogs poo.
My dogs do not eat poo as they are adults who were trained out of it as puppies.
My dogs also run in and out of the undergrowth.

I think you are both talking at cross purposes here. Obviously, pick up straight away in the garden and whilst out, keep on a lead until the dog is trained out of the habit. Food should not be overlooked, as sometimes, just sometimes the dog is making up for a deficiency that he's not getting from his meals.

That's fair enough. Ours just didn't/doesn't have the habit to be trained out of. And, in any case, I couldn't run fast enough to stop him from picking rabbit poo even if he was so inclined.
