Azure & Billy, male HuskyX ‘s, DOB 2009 - Godstone, Surrey
Azure & Billy, HuskyX ‘s, DOB 2009 - Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Azure and Billy are looking for a large dog experienced family who are looking for a devoted couple of dogs who are intelligent and keen to learn but haven't had the opportunity to live within a home and family in their first 3 years of life. This pair are probably litter brothers and do not fair well apart. They need to be walked by 2 aware people at this stage prior to their training. They are keen on seeing cats and would chase. They meet dogs well but would be better living together by themselves.
Their Story: Azure and Billy were kept in a 'work yard' and repeatedly got out and went walkabouts. Their 'owner' came, claimed and returned back each next time they were found. The last time the owner didn't come forwards. They were separated in kennels at one point but they fretted and so were re-kennelled together. Both are neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Currently kennelled in Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Azure & Billy are large amenable dogs. They are very close to one another and Azure will try to protect Billy so he needs to be involved and consulted so he understand good deeds and intent. They have never posed a threat to people who are comfortable in the company of large breed dogs. They need training on lead walking and would be best walked on waist leads to avoid their hard pull. They are 'keen' on cats and so this issue needs to be managed by walking on waist-leads - they can be distracted, but haven't been used to formal walks.
Azure & Billy are around 3 years old with a thick shepherd type coat which needs daily brushing which they both love! They need a secure garden to enjoy and will need to be gradually introduced to living in a house; we have not been able to offer them a foster place at this stage. The lads have so much going for them and are safe in public meeting other dogs, people and children. They will delight in their new life … they have waited too long.
Please note that these dogs is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
