What a refreshing change to see the guy being challenged about the methods he shows.

Alan Titchmarsh has gone way up in my estimation.

He stated the experts say his methods are outdated, cruel and dangerous to those that copy them. He is the guest they have had the most complaints about and invited him to defend his methods.

To which he said that what he does are taps, and Alan said that they don't look like taps and people copying him won't be tapping they will be mistreating.

Obviously there was a lot more to it but thats the bones of it

AT started off as would be expected, lulling CM into a false sense of security. Then he started to mention how controversial his methods were and didn't let up either. He brought up the " touch " or " punch " as AT described it, saying he'd seen clips of CM punching dogs in the neck, and going on to say if he'd been struck like that he'd be in pain.
Also mentioned pinch and E collars, and the kicks to the abdomen.
He also kept at him about the damage done by people trying out his methods at home.

All in all, AT was excellent.
