What sad news about poor Lily S She is obviously now getting the care she needs so everything is crossed that she makes a full and speedy recovery. Gentle hug for her and a bigger one for you.

Thats terrible. Poor Lily and poor you. At times like that, you need to know you can rely on your vets. I hope Lily improves and is home with you soon. xx

Thankyou again everyone for all your messages of support. I have just been and bought Lily home for the night. She seems a little calmer although still far from right.
The vet has left her drip line in and said if she shows signs of distress again to get her round the emergency vets. She will ring me in the morning and if Lily is continuing to improve (fingers crossed), she will arrange for us to go and see her so she can check her and take out the line. She still thinks there is a good chance she has suffered a slight stroke.
