Hi, I am back.

Just to let you all know I am back in the land of the living although it was touch and go a few times. Seems my family have been through hell and back and I knew nothing as I have been unconscious. I just remember having a little puff of ciggie and then as if someone had cut my oxygen off and couldn't breathe at all. Next thing I am waking up in intensive care 8 days later. Docs are not sure if I had such a severe asthma attack that it has damaged my heart or if I have had a heart attack and that is why my heart is damaged. They are going to do more tests in 4-5 months time as they reckon it is going to take that long to get my body fit enough for the tests. I just feel so lucky to have been given another chance at life. Thank you everyone that has sent kind messages for my recovery they certainly worked.

Great to have you back.

Hopefully there is not too much damage and it was just a little warning.

Look after yourself xx

Welcome back Heather

Gosh 8 days - that must have been such a worry for you all. I've just come back from the hospital myself, my elderly aunt has been taken in and we're all worried about her so can imagine what your family have been going through with you being in for 8 days.

Glad you are back home now, try to look after yourself and get fit enough for those tests - hopefully they'll be able to help get a better idea of what's up.
