I know you are Lynn, we would all be the same, but in all honestly he really does have to get to the vets, somehow, not easy in these conditions, and also not so easy with such a big boy in pain You will find the strength Lynn to cope, as we always have at times like this, I feel devastated for you I really do, but he'll be ok, honest, they just need to get a catheter in there I'm sure of it. We're all here for you Lynn, I hope you get him in the car and get him off to the vets as soon as you've had that call. Sending everything I've got that he'll be ok once he's at the vets, you poor, poor thing.xxxxxxxxxxxx

So sorry Ollie has taken a turn for the worse.

It is so worrying when they are so poorly, you must be exhausted!!

I hope he soon feels better, even if he has to be hospitalized for the night.

Take care

(please Ollie, have a wee)

Thanks Helena. We put his ruffwear harness on it has a handle. Gorden lifts his front legs gently onto the ledge of the boot he then can get himself in with us holding the handle and helping lift him.

I think I am at the point that although it will not be easy getting all this done and the possibility of hospitilisation I will be relieved that it is being done so we can either bring him home a lot more comfortable and all get some rest or he will be in safe hands and we can have some rest. I am exhausted.

Good job Volvos are quite low.

Oh theres nothing worse than not knowing exactly whats going on with them.....might just be a urine infection and a pulled muscle in the cold? Hope he gets better soon.

Just when the snows here and he should be loving it - Hope you get good progress after his catheter and bloods have been done.

We are off in a bit to the hospital with Ollie.

Vet has said he shouldn't be doing what he is doing with a bladder or kidney infection it could be his nervous system and the nerves are linked to the bladder and it is throwing out a red herring

He is gong to be sedated and a thorough examination done.

Will update when I can.

OMG Lynn I have only just seen this. I really hope poor Ollie is ok. I am thinking of you and praying hard for him.
He will be best left with the vets, he won't be stressed as they will keep him mildly sedated so he is relaxed, so don't fret about that.
I hope you are on your way now but if you see this I think you have my mobile number so please give me a text to let me know how things are, it doesn't matter what time it is. (((hugs)))
