Dog Claws

I just bought a puppy and her claws keep ruining my furniture, what could i do to help this?

Exactly and Pugs need to keep their claws short anyway otherwise they're likely to catch their eyes with them as they wash their faces like cats. Buy a dremmel and do a bit every day to get him/her used to having them trimmed.

What kind of furniture is she ruining? if you have leather sofas, put thick throws over them to protect them.

Or as others have said, keep her off them if it is that much of a problem. If you let dogs on the furniture you have to accept that they are not going to retain their original condition.

I agree with the others. You do have to except that having a dog no matter how houseproud you are things will get damaged and dirty. You can only try and minimise this

If clipping or grinding down claws do please be aware they have a very sensitive quick within their claws which will be painful and will bleed if you catch it.
