American bulldog breeder Stephen Potts jailed over dog attack

A breeder of American bulldogs who lost an arm after being savaged by his own pets has been jailed over an attack by his animals on a 63-year-old man.
Dogs owned by Stephen Potts, 48, bit Lindsay Edwards, leaving him with wounds so deep his skull was exposed.
The attack in Belmont, County Durham, in October, happened weeks after Potts had been savaged by two of his own dogs and had to have an arm amputated.
He was jailed for three months at Durham Crown Court.
Potts, from Low Pittington, County Durham, had denied seven charges of owning dangerously out of control dogs.

It's sad, there should be a special place in hell for such humans. I know with the breed ban laws there the press must be gobbling it up. So there's this moron letting his dogs be demons, besides hurting him and an innocent stranger it just further galvanizes the concept of the bully breeds as dangerous. Dangerous in the wrong hands, as are many other breeds as well. Callie is just one dog and I will never allow him off-lead. This clown had an unrestrained pack.

Is 3 months enough ? He knew what his dogs were capable of and still let off lead to maim and possibly kill.
Dogs have paid the price again for a humans unwillingness too face up to the fact their dogs are not able to socialise and so are a ticking time bomb.
