Dogs found dead at music festival

Two dogs have been found dead in a security van at Creamfields music festival, the RSPCA has confirmed.

The dogs, reported to be Rottweilers, were found in a van at the site of the festival in Daresbury in Cheshire on Saturday.

The RSPCA took the dogs away and a post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of their deaths.

A joint RSPCA and Cheshire Police investigation is under way.

Just goes against the whole idea of a festival being a celebration of sorts

Creamfields does not seem much of a celebration for a young man as well.

Police are investigating whether drugs played a part in the death of a man who's thought to have been attending the Creamfields Festival.

Ambulance crews were called earlier today to a hotel near Widnes after a guest complained of respiratory problems.

The 22-year-old, who has not been named, was taken to Whiston Hospital where his condition deteriorated and he died a short time later.

sad news

Daresbury is about a mile from where I grew up. My parents and my sister (Fudgely) still live there.

Rotties probably died from overheating. That is definitely NOT how to restrain a domesticated animal.
That's plain D--- cruel.
