Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Pleased you had a good weekend Lynn and enjoyed your day out.

Being nosey Griff why is the local off limits?

Another cold and frosty start. Eldest son has booked tickets for Barry and I plus himself to see Andre Rieu in April. Barry enjoys him but I am not so keen but hey ho have to keep the troops happy It isa late birthday present for Barry from him.

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning all
Oh, thought I had said sue....well my dad went up last Saturday and there's a fella who goes in, dad has voiced concerns over the way he behaves with the girl a few times, anyway he sat and watched things, his wife didn't look comfortable with the way he was behaving and neither was the girl...the fella went off with the girl and my dad asked the wife if everything was o.k...she said yes but not confidently...so dad watched a bit longer and said something, he said it wasn't appropriate the way the guy was behaving and the wife and daughter were obviously uncomfortable...long story short, it nearly came to blows and both parties were asked to stay away for a couple of weeks to let things settle...however! After my dad left, one of the other regulars went over and said to my friend that both he and his wife had also had concerns and something is "off" either with him and the child or the relationship...they weren't sure what it was but something just doesn't sit well. So I was told I am more than welcome anytime in the pub but my dad isn't the sort of fella to say anything without being pretty concerned so I won't go in, also if I see the fella concerned, I am much more short tempered and I wouldn't be able to stop myself. Funny how my dad said something and then others are also voicing concern

Yes it's good your dad did say something, the others would likely have said nowt if he hadn't. These days you have to be careful people are only to willing to get violent if anybody says anything they think is 'getting at them' but that's the world we live in.

Anyway, like you say it's no big deal missing out a few days in your local, I would be a worried about you getting hurt so pleased your not going in there for a while, guy sounds a bit dodgy to me but only your dad knows for sure.
