What is your dog scared of?

Thinking about the thunder storm we had last night, I was very proud that Forrest isn't scared of them at all - he even went out for a wee in the middle of it all

That got me thinking, what is this puppy scared of? I couldn't come up with anything, but then remembered that on about the second walk my OH took him on there was a little pile of grass on the field (and I mean little). Poor Forrest was rigid with fear

What scares your dog? (I hope I'm not repeating an earlier thread)

Where shall I start.
My big girl is scared of Veichels whooshing past on wet roads. Lorries, buses or motorbikes whizzing past on any road close by.
Children running past yelling and screaming and bikes and police etc sirens close by.
She reacts by barking and jumping toward them.
Not scared of thunder or fireworks though

Hi,
Where do I start Blackie is scared of -

Spiders - he tried to eat one once and it wouldn't die.

Flies - they sometimes are too noisy.

Balloons - He barks like mad at them.

Small Dogs - i.e. Jack Russell's etc.

Crinkly paper - he burst a golf ball once and has never forgot the twan (sp) of the elastic bands.

Moths.

any unusually loud noises - bangs etc.

Black bags in gardens etc.

He used to be scared of wheelie bins, he's ok now though.

And finally anything he hasn't seen before.

Ian

Shortest answers:
Kali - nothing, except getting a telling-off from me.
Snorri - just about anything that moves, especially farm animals (not bad for a Border Collie, eh?)

When the workmen were here, rebuilding our porch, they used a circular saw to cut up concrete blocks - the whining noise had Kali hiding in the smallest corner he could get into!

Neither dog is keen on the Hoover, or anything else that could be called a "buzzybuzzy", but their reaction is more suspicious dislike than fear.

Storm was scared of nothing, Star scared of the vet but is getting better.

Jake is scared of
The car
The vets
Fireworks
Thunder
Any kind of bang
and the thing he scared of the most is the moo sound the bull off bullseye makes. It makes him sound like a nervous wreck but luckily they dont happen that often, and we would not take him on a car journey to the vets in a thunder storm on november 5th with bullseye on the tv.

Vegas is scared of only one thing-wheelie bins. When im lopping shrubs in garden and wheel it in,Vegas will litterally run away/cowering & yelping like he's in pain.

It makes me think he was perhaps put in one when he was a puppy before i got him cause other than that-he isnt scared of anything.I can stand on kerb while buses, lorrys etc thunder by and he is totally unfazed.
