Poodle wins ticket in Ob and new GSD Ob Ch!

Michelle Newman with her Standard Poodle Myall Kanya Tri Again (Wiggy) won the bitch ticket at BGSDA Open and Jenny Gould won the dog ticket at Newmarket with her GSD Zakanja Bitter'N'Twisted (Chance).

This is their third, so subject to KC approval will be the first GSD Ob Ch for a number of years.

So, I hope both their rounds are featured on the TV coverage of Crufts next year.

Well done both of them.

I haven't been following Obedience for a while, so didn't realize it was so long since there was a GSD Ob Ch. When I first started, (not saying how long ago!) there was a miniature poodle champion amongst all the border collies, a few GSDs and a labrador.

Must start getting Dog Training Weekly again if it's still going (was Obedience News when I started).

Yes be nice to see the different breeds At the moment with the same person winning both the bitch and dog tickets it could be finished quite early
