Treat Bag

I'm on the market for a new treat bag.

We've been using this since day one and whilst it's lasted nearly 8 months it's now falling apart and was not without it's faults (the pull cord bashed against your hand as you walked, despite the claims of easy access I found it a nightmare to get my hand in there and come out with a treat quickly).

So, what do you use? Any recommendations? Money is no object as long as it's the right thing (oh, and looks good ;o)

A jacket with decent pockets?

on a slightly different note, on your thread about his digestive system you said Woody gets his food and one dentastick a day - so what are you using for training treats?

Yep same here.

For now pidge, only use his kibble for treats... nothing else.

I tried something like that once and it just annoyed me!

What about a normal bum-bag around your waist?

His normal kibble is all he ever has for training. But it is kept in the bag and just topped up, I wonder if that's not helping! Will stop that now.

Too hot for a jacket!!

Nah, bum bag would annoy me even more I'm afraid. I do like the treat bags I just want one that perhaps lasts abit longer and opens wider.

Pockets!! Every single coat i own has dog biscuits in the pockets - quite embarassing if i meet a supplier at work and go to hand a business card but instead produce a bonio!!

If i'm not wearing a coat to go out then i use my jean pockets but make sure anything put in them won't melt or go soft and gooey so those occasions are biscuit treats only!

Haha, I can't help it!! I'm just drawn to these things. It''s my bloody materialistic Dad and my materialistic upbringing!! I'm trying to shirk it, honest.

I found treat bags for training annoying and pretty useless not instant enough for me.

As the others say a pocket does the job very well and for 'wet' treats like cheese a small polythene bag in the pocket serves the purpose very well
