Yep, but that won't take long, by the time you get home gravity should have done its job

Thanks Jenny... the numbness has gone now (but the 'tingling'/pain is starting to arrive ).

Luckily I have some Amy's Kitchen soups that I stocked up on while they were on offer in Waitrose I wish I could make soup myself though, my attempts are always a disaster

Azz forget yogurt and get yourself a big plate of stew and dumplings that will make you feel better
Oh Mini, how I could gobble a plate of that down right now! This yoghurt didn't even begin to touch the spot

Pasta, eggs, soup, just not to hot and eat on good side

I'm not sure now JB, as Nippy mentioned I thought it was to do with that :/

Thanks for mentioning eggs - I have plenty of them as I bought a pack of 12 earlier this week

It works! My brother got a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth..Emergency services told us to pack it with sugar. It works... stops the bleeding...

Since then we've used it after dental surgery...It works

Would honey work? There's no sugar in this house as I'm not supposed to have any. Actually, come to think of I bought a packet or Mollasses (like brown sugar) last week... for my ginger beer

We had to use Brown sugar for my brother actually :P

Honey may work its all about the sugar and the membranes in the mouth...

Hi Kim

Did he have to take antibiotics? My dentist has given me a prescription and said don't take them if I don't have to - but the irritating feeling is really irritating me now and I'm wondering whether to take them or not :/

Hi Jane, it's better today thanks

Still got a pain in the underside of my jaw (think it's the connecting nerves) and it's still irritable and hurting a bit but definitely better than the last few days.

I'm not sure whether I should take any ABs tho - I try to avoid them if at all possible, but at the same time I don't want it to get infected... last thing I want is an abscess horrible they are
