own brands or NOT ?

just wonderd if any of you are like me ...I don't mind most supermarkets own brands but some items i can't compromise on ...like tomato soup for me has to be hienz ...and coffee must be gold blend

what won't you buy cheaper ?

Brown sauce ..got to be HP
Tea bags ..got to be PG
Soup...has to be Heinz
Kit kats ......well they have to be ....well KitKats
Diet Coke ...has to be real and not Rola Cola

tomato sauce has to be ketchup
beans and tommy soup have to be heinz
coffee has to be nescafe

other than that i'm open to anything!

I don't mind own brand stuff but i have to buy,
Persil washing tabs,
Lenor,
Domestos bleach,
gold blend coffee,
Pg tips tea,
Robinson's special R,
walkers crisps,
Heinz tomato sauce,and don't mind about the rest.

gotta be nescafe gold blend, heinz beans and persil washing stuff but other than that anything goes! sorry forgot pantene shampoo and simple body wash....

In our house, toilet paper has to be Andrex!!
Baked Beans have to be Heinz
Coffee has to be Nescafe
Tomato sauce has to be Heinz

Other than that, can't think of anything that has to be branded.

Nescafe Gold Blend De-caf, either Lenor or Comfort - no watery own versions, same with washing powders Ariel, Bold or Daz, bubble bath only Radox, disinfectant - only Dettol..............come to think of it, I don't think I use any 'own brands'...........lol.

oh yeah forgot about sauce we like brown here has to be HP ....and Fairy washing up liquid

I don't mind own brands asda butter same as anchor to me and my kids had kelloggs cornflakes last week and complained

I don't use any own brands I think the branded names do a grand job, so never had an excuse to change

Looks like there are a few common ones.

We too are Heinz for beans and tomato soup
Taco kit must be Old El Paso (dont even think about trying the tesco one its not nice!)
Cornflakes (of any sort) must be Kellogs
Velvet or Andrex loo roll lol
Cappuccino drink must be a can of Kenco Cappio! Mmmm
Crisps must be proper brand i.e Walkers
Yoghurts must be Muller
Ice lollys are Magnums mmmm especially the truffle one!

Dogs are not fussy though they wouldnt care where it came from, who it was made by, how much it cost or even in the labs case, how mouldy it is! :smt078 :smt081
