I was sorry I read it at first bobble. Reduced me to tears too. But glad afterwards because I got to sign the Petition.

I have seen this kind of thing on the news all too often. They are now implementing stricter laws here as people have taken to throwing tiny dogs off of balconies like it's a trend. Horrible. I cannot say I was taken aback by this story. Just read through and SMH.

What's worse is that the punishments are always so light because to the government, dogs are property and simply are not worth much. For some reason, I do not think that will ever change, sadly.

Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons killed, fought, and tortured dozens of pit bull dogs (burning to death, beating to death, starving to death, strangling to death, electrocuting to death, drowning to death, shooting to death), and only got 24 months... and that was federal time for bankrolling (funding) the operation, not hurting the dogs.

Absurd. He also was not given a ban for owning animals (that is almost never done here) and has several more pit bull puppies and claims to help with proper training etc. of them now. Posing for cute photos and whatnot. I don't believe that for a second, though.

Husband and myself are fervently hoping that the other inmates of whichever gaol she ends up in for her pitifully short sentence, will tear her to pieces. I gather they tend to take a dim view of people who hurt children or animals. Let's hope that they get to her before she is put in solitary for her own good.

Probably the best way to deal with this is to make sure that on her release from jail, there is no hiding place for this evil woman. Find her, put her name and address on as many social media and specialist web-sites as possible. Then it may just happen that someone takes appropriate action to bring about some REAL justice. I'd really like to meet her!

Disgusting evil woman! I wouldn't trust her her as a solicitor, no right minded person would. I agree with everything that's been said, but I do think that there should be harsher sentences.
