Miss Marple

I have my Miss Marple craze going on here (happens every so often ) so out come the dvd's... im watching Murder she said starring Margaret Rutherford (the best Miss Marple imo) and its got to the part where she goes to the house as a maid ... the door is opened by the current maid in the house who is played by Joan Hickson , who in her later years played Miss Marple herself in the BBC series

I loved Margaret Rutherford and grew up thinking of her as Miss Marple, though I did think Joan Hickson was good too.

I have all the Joan Hickson series as well , she was excellent in the role I have to agree

Im just a huge Margaret Rutherford fan , I guess thats why she's my fave , I dont think ive ever seen her play anything I didnt like
