That's stunning

I know where it is - quite a fair old way down the glen.

When it says views to Stob Dubh it's this view. The house is off down to the right of where this picture was taken.

Thanks for that Phil - cracking view

It is about 20 mins drive into the glen I believe. If we were to buy it, we would be hoping to use it a bit like Liddesdale, ie a holiday let for the times when we don't want to use it ourselves, friends, friends of friends etc and people keep it clean, take their own bedding, and therefore keeping the rental low. That is one idea anyway.

I can't wait to see it.

Sorry forgot to reply. Glen saus Glen Etive is a wonderful place to buy a Holiday Home. Down a looong single track road, definitely remote but not so far in the wilderness that you couldn't get there if that makes sense? The guy who wrote the James Bond series of books owns a large chunk of it (Ian Fleming), his house is just off the single track road.

He does a lot of fishing in Loch Etive, so u could let it out as a fishing weekend for salmon, trout, sea trout, rainbow trout, cod, pollock, dogfish etc etc

Brill place for walking. Teally popular with hikers and walkers. Dog friendly, no sheep! Remember my Glencoe picture thread, that's Rannoch Moor which is part of Glen Etive

You will be really close to the ski centre (about 15 mins) which in summer also does loads of hiking and mountain biking trails etc.

About 1 and a half hours from Glasgow, 40 mins to Fort William.

If you buy a property he would use it

20 mins by snow plough in the winter

If it's available for rent - I definately think you should put in an offer

Ooh - I've just clocked my 10,000th post

Just showed him the property, he says it's really quite far into the Glen so even better!
