It's not inappropriate when you get a dog running the streets and the owner hasn't put a tag on so you can't get it back to them. Not to mention that it is illegal.

i can only laugh at that brought up on this thread lol.
he is not wearing id tags as he is on private land. not an offence in the eyes of the law i believe!

and he is id chipped- if he was the type of dog to leg it then he wouldnt be off lead in the first place

That's fair enough. I was just interested into why he wasn't wearing one that all.

Just before Christmas I ended up with a Staffie who had escaped from her garden, who didn't have a tag on, nor did she have a chip. It was hell to try and find out where she belonged.

I didn't mean my query to cause any hassle. Was just wondering, that was all.

Hi there, I just wanted to say he is lovely. I have a Gunalt bitch. She is 13 years old next month and is a wonderful girl. I used to show Amber and we had some success and much fun. You can always tell the Gunalt dogs, Patsy and Stephen have developed a very true line and they have the most beautiful heads in my opinion. If you search for elahrairah border collies in google you can take a look at our website, Amber has her own page on there. Goodluck with him he is super !!
