Morning Moyra and all who follow.

Starting off nice here glad it is am driving to Essex to meet my friend Julie for lunch.

Got up early cooked more chicken and mash for Dillon he has eaten a little this morning. With some pumpkin the tinned stuff not the pie filling the natural one it works for constipation and also to firm them up.
Plus some ground pumpkin seed for worming.
He isn't keen on the mashed potato and I was reading rice apparently is a fermenting commodity so can cause gas.
We certainly do not need a build up of gas as he might bloat.
He has a had a roll about for a tummy rub when i got on the floor so hopefully during the day and tomorrow he will be back to his old self.
Gorden has been left with instructions.

Moyra such a shame you can't move even if you want to. Well you can but your worry over Steve is stronger than your want/need to move.
It's a shame he isn't more grateful for the huge sacrifice you are making.
griff glad you enjoyed your meal.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

Hi all, been busy helping my dad.
Chris, I really hope Gary is doing o.k today and that the consultant listens to you and decides to actually help
Moyra, I really hope you can find somewhere suitable for you and that Steve decides to either come with you or find a place on his own
Lynn, hope Dillon comtinues to improve and that Gorden has followed your instructions
Sue, I wish I had the room to grow stuff and the actual ability lol. I tried growing tomatoes but despite my care... nothing!
Well Steve has started his first shift...not a happy boy lol

Good afternoon all. Beautiful day here. Real teeshirt weather.

Gary - extra medication added to try out so that will start tomorrow. One thing that really blew my mind though was that the neurologist (who I thought was the specialist) is referring him on to a specialist. I'm presuming that the consultant neurologist we have been seeing is referring to an epilepsy specialist, but didn't get chance to clarify too much as an emergency came in and he hustled us out. The consultation was nearly finished so it was left there

Afternoon had a nice lunch with my friend.
Dillon eating a bit more but still runny poops not solid yet. Gorden followed instructions to the letter.

Great journey over but nightmare coming back I rarely go to jct 14 on the M11 now always come off at A11. Good job jct 14 shut A10 at Stretham shut both ways bad accident gates over railway shut at the bridge at Ely so lorries queuing temporary traffic lights where they are building the new bypass at Ely so it was stop start till I got to Littleport. Then made good time so took me a bit longer getting back than getting there but at least in safe and sound.

Chased the agent about our bungalow local searches not due back till 9th October. They are chasing the snagging job to. So hopefully when they are back we can exchange contracts as all contracts with solicitor now signed and ready and waiting then get a moving date.

griff oh dear not a good start for Steve.
Would be nice for a few more runner beans Sue but heard on the radio cold weather meant to start setting in after this week I believe.
Chris oh dear not good thinking you were seeing a consultant and he is what a registrar to the consultant ? Fingers crossed the extra medication helps and the referral comes up with something helpful.

Hi Griffy, tomatoes can be quite difficult, Mrs Losos had a really huge crop this year of three different types BUT it has taken her more than ten years to get everything right.

She was plagued by something called 'Damping Off' one year, she read the Gardening Weekly and even the editor wrote that he had it and could not get rid of it.

Have you thought about strawberries in pots They are (in my opinion) easier to grow than tomatoes, you'll need to keep the birds away, they love 'em

It's strange, Lynn. I think the guy is a consultant (in fact I know he is), but a consultant neurologist rather than a specialist in epilepsy. Seems a bit strange to me, but at least it's a small move forward.

The meds? It's a fingers crossed job as Gary has reacted badly to so many of them in the past that it's a bit of pot luck to try to come up with something that might work rather than make him ill.

Sounds like your move is getting a lot nearer now. Fingers crossed that all the hurdles have been jumped and it's full steam ahead now
