Daily Thread, Sunday, 5th August.

Good morning all. Another hot one. I am slow to get going this morning. Had my shower and gave Amber some breakfast but she is yet to have her walk so I had better get that done now. My hair is still wet from my shower but that will soon dry in the sun.

I hope you and your four legged friends are all ok and in fine fettle.

Harvey, thanks for the further info. I have got a freeview telly.

Enjoy your walk with Amber. If you want more tv channels you can get a freesat box but this would require connection to a satellite dish but to be honest most of the extra stations are repeats. We have have but rarely use it.


Love the fence Griff but I doubt I would have been brave enough to paint it that colour.

another hot day in the offing. Teazle out early and have dug up the potatoes and just waiting for them to dry before putting them in a sack. Have also made the meat pies and had enough pastry left to make a lemon meringue pie yum.

Good afternoon all.

We slipped up big-time coming home today. We forgot about the village carnival so went the way we usually go to take Gary home. No way could we have pulled onto his estate. The 5 minute journey along the road to the village had already taken us 20 so we dropped him off on the main road - much to his disgust. Five minutes later, I got Rosie out of the car too and walked the rest of the way. It was boiling in the car and, unfortunately the breeze had dropped so it wasn't too much better walking.

Weather-wise it's been a nice morning, but boy did it hot up on the way home.

Whoops Chris, we had the HSBC bike ride here, luckily I remembered before mum and dad went to mozzas...o.k getting there but detour on the way back
Didn't manage to finish the whole panel... going out so needed to wash all the blue off me! Straighten my hair and apply instant tan, dress chosen and sky high heels, just need to get hold of Steve before I go as I am not allowed to call him when I am drunk lol

As it happens I painted the garage door today, in BLUE not quite as bright as younce fence panel 'tho and apart from hands I managed to keep it off me

Lol..see, great taste Harvey! I went out and I had fence paint on my foot...I washed it twice!
