That's looking nice griff.

There is still a rank amongst people in India isn't there I believe not here in the Uk or shouldn't be but some do I think still refer back to old ways. I would consider myself lucky neighbours were putting up a new fence at their expense.

Thanks both.. when the fencer comes back, the other side of the gate we are having a small piece so she gets the full nice panel and it's her own to paint as she pleases. Makes me laugh though...she could have had the matching gate like us for about 80quid...she kept saying I will pay my bit and mum and dad said no, so she could have paid that money to a nice matching gate... when it's sorted I will post a photo and show you how she chose to leave it!
Kazz, I will deffo post you a photo, to overcome her looking into our house now when walking up the driveway I am having bamboo in pots!

Little story that puts Indian class system into prospective and the luckiest man in the world.

One day a tramp, a real down and out, found a pound coin outside a shop. So he picked it up and went in and bought a scratch card with it and found he had won £500.

Thinking his luck was changing he went to America and into a casino. He first night he won again around $5,000. Second night he won again a huge amount of around $50,000. Third night the management approached him and said as he was winning so big people were coming in just to watch

So in appreciation the next night the management offered him the best suit in the house- as much food and drink as he wanted, more than that they lined up about 6 young ladies for him to choose from

He chose an Indian girl and took her up to the suit. The first thing he did was peel off her caste mark on her forehead and found he had won a car.

Lol Barry.
House a big no. Steps down into living room from front door we would probably like them use the side entrance more. Then more steps into living room and into kitchen dolls house size, extremely steep stairs and Gordern isn't sure due to the layout if he would be able to sort those like he did here.
Very wonky landing and plaster blowing on one bedroom wall. Very busy road and just wasn't feeling it.
Gorden now chasing that bungalow we were meant to see and couldn't. Also agent rang about a bungalow they were meant to be chasing managed to get price to within our budget if we pay legal fees.
We think the garden will be a let down on that one though.

Viewing booked for one bungalow through our agent for Saturday 10.15. Still waiting to hear about the other bungalow we were meant to view and didn't.
Have a feeling the garden might be let down on the Saturday one.

Fireplaces were lovely in the house today griff but can you believe it looked older and felt older than our house which is Georgian. Did feel sorry for the couple in their 80's they had sold then the buyer pulled out apparently survey done and the elderly man said there were no problems with that. We are wondering if maybe there was.
They want to go back to Hertfordshire to be near their children and grandchildren.
They use to live in Harlow not a million miles from where we lived and an estate that Gorden use to get a lot of children from when he was a teacher.
