buddy's got dandruff

I checked with the vet and he said it was nothing serious, but does anyone give their dogs anything to help with skin and coat condition, apart from the usual cod liver or evening primrose oil?He has a lovely shiny coat now but still flaky skin underneath!!

A teaspoonful a day of Flaxseed oil (available from health food shops) in with his food will help a dry, scurfy skin

I was looking at Sardines at the grocery store the other day and thinking about getting it for the dogs, not for dandruff, just snack. Wasn't sure if it was good for them. Great to hear it is

Sardines, salmon, tuna, etc. - all very good for your dogs. Always buy the ones that are packed in springwater or vegetable oil, not brine.
