Discharge after mating!

As you all know, we finally got our girl mated 2 weeks ago, after many premate tests, as she ovulated day 20

Monday of this week, my girl had a brown discharge.........ok, I'm not trying to put anybody off their dinner here, but it's a sticky sort of discharge, not drippy, brown in colour. I took her to the vet yesterday, the vet checked her over thoroughly, temp normal, no enlarged glands, no excessive drinking, still eating, swollen nipples, very pink.......other than being extra soppy and being my shadow she is absolutely fine!!

The vet assured me it was just an infection, probably picked up from the stud dog as we had 4 matings in total and put her on a 7 day course of anti-biotics.

Has anybody had the same with their girls............as you can tell I am completely paranoid that something worse is happening can anybody reassure me please

Looking good, so far, so good, she has big boobies and a hard belly! So fingers crossed, having her scanned next week just to put my mind at ease.
