£640 M.
Thing is I Have to buy it in Gib & the firm I got quote from is very reliable. I`d have more choice in Spain but as my sat connection won`t work with Spanish version of windows I might as well get the lot in Gib. What you think price wise?

I would say £640 is a bit pricey??...But I don't know the cost of things in your part of the world, it may be a very good deal there??...I would say here in the UK you could get the same for the £500 mark probably? Though maybe it's the cordless componants pushing the price up a bit??...We'll have to see what other people think

Probably is a bit pricey but things in Gib usually are. Spains cheaper M but don`t won`t to complicate things by buying in seperate countries. Fred gave me a good link for place in Spain but as I say want to keep things simple as poss. Agent for sat connection has to upload it on new pc so already will be 2 different firms.
Thanks for the help

Sounds good to me. ASUS motherboard is a quality motherboard so not cheap. The Processor isn't peanuts either.

I'd be happy with that spec

Is there more than one DVD drive? (only needed if you want to copy CD's/DVD's)

Hi Christine

A graphics card is what tells your monitor what to display.

Some (but not all) motherboards have a graphics card built in to them. They are generally enough for most people.

If you (or anyone who's using the PC) is into gaming then a non-motherboard graphics card is better. The more you pay the faster the graphics card in general. Graphics cards are generally based either on nVidia or ATI Radeon software/hardware. Some people swear by one and some by the other. Unless you're really into gaming it doesn't matter

My graphics card has two sockets so I can run 2 monitors which is handy if you have 2 monitors

HTH,

Graeme
