Afternoon glad you are feeling a bit better Kazz, sounds like the type of flu I had the first Spring we lived here. I couldn't eat for 10 days and the guy who did the fireplace said I sounded like I smoked 40 a day when I coughed.
Never smoked a cigarette a day in my life.

Not much luck with the clothing. Did get a cushion for Michael and Maca for Christmas with a dachshund on, they should be able to squash it in a case.
dachshund through the snow is the slogan.
I decided I will wear my denim skirt got a nice dark grey jumper I have black boots and bought a black jacket.
Gorden got his slippers from Skechers , so not a totally wasted journey.
Stuff was either so expensive or didn't fit, or just not appropriate.

Lynn, Steve had the same situation looking for trousers and a shirt for his sister's wedding, everything he liked was overpriced, he actually ended up paying £30 for a shirt!

It's ridiculous griff the prices of some things.
I make Gorden chuckle he says buy it I say no out of principle.
It has to be something I will wear a good few times to pay some of the prices.

Yeah, Steve went into moss bros, he saw a pair of trousers...he said they would do... didn't love them £150.....he said no chance!!! He bought some from next and I think they were about £40 and he really didn't want to pay that!
I only spend about £5 on a dress, jeans etc, because of my fluctuating weight I need stuff in 3 sizes

I tend to live in jeans because the only places I ever go I usually get filthy as, of course, Rosie goes too.

I do have three pairs of black trousers (funeral wear) in different sizes because my weight is up and down (usually more up than down, but I do try to keep it down when I can). Tesco specials - none of 'em no more than a fiver. So far, they've all been worn once and I hope it's a long time before I need them again
