ull and Dismal Saturday 2nd October

Good morning everyone

The weather yesterday was horrendous. I had to go over to the house to be there for the replacement cupboard and coming home the wipers hardly touched the rain! Very overcast and threatening looking today. Teazle walked and now having a coffee before calling Ben so that we can get over there today to put a coat of paint on the kitchen walls before they template the worktops.

Hope all are well. Take care

Morning Sue and all to follow.
Weather looking doubtful here now after putting the washing in.

Sounds like a horrendous journey yesterday, glad you made it home safely.
Good luck with your painting today.

Making meringues and sausage rolls today to take to Mark and Lauren's tomorrow we said we would supply the food so neither have to go shopping or do anything. We have paper plates and cups to.
Looking forward to cuddles with Freya.

Have a safe day everyone.

No Kelly Steve is just taking it as it comes. She suffers with a lot of stress so he has to give her leeway to have her bad days. Although it is two years since her divorce it is only now that the financial side of the divorce is being sorted out. Her ex has promised her the house if she leaves his business alone. So not sure what is stressing her out.

I guess perhaps it's having to believe that he will do what he says Moyra..... until the house is solely in her name I guess she will be worried. Divorces can get quite nasty especially if solicitors are involved, despite what you agree amongst yourselves they always advise you to take your share of everything.

Good afternoon all.

Had a dry morning here, but blooming freezing.

The heavens have opened now and it's bouncing it down.

Gary came out with us this morning and we met a lady that is also waiting for a flat to come empty where he lives. We've known her for a few years now and she seems OK. He is now friendly again with the other girl so I have a feeling that trouble is not far behind <sigh>

Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water ................

Oh no Chris.

Margaret passed away about 1/2 hour ago.
