Moyra - Yes I have been on chemo and my consultant was very clear that I should have the jab. The only side effect was that I felt tired for about a day. Other than that then nothing. (It was the Astra Zenneca - Oxford version)

The only people who you should listen to are your doctor and other medically qualified people. As Griffy has said it's not something Steve (or any non medical person) should be giving you advice on.

Thank you all so much for telling about your experiences. I am afraid I am still not convinced. I think I have already had it and am still suffering from it so. I will take time to see whether I am better as I am closely isolating or whether time will come when I can feel confident to have the vacine.

Interesting to see Israel's situation. !!

If you think you have covid, you should be tested, it will show if you have/had the disease

Ring 119 and ask them to send you a home test Moyra. They are simple to do and post back. Results come back in a couple of days from dropping it in the postbox

They are advising that even if you've had a severe case of the virus to still get vaccinated.

Moyra I hope you have done what you were considering. It is important that we all do what we can for our country and keep each other safe.

if you don't have the vaccination jabs the virus may only affect you mildly but you are also be spreading it to others who could be seriously ill or die.

I would hate to think that I caused this because of my own reluctance to get the best protection available.

Think of others not just yourself

I surprised Sue that I could not wait to have the Jab when I refused the Flu one
