Good news story.....heart warming

What a lovely good news story, shows how people benefit from contact with animals and whata great story for retired greyhounds........... .......an idea also lots of similar places could take up.

How lovely. I do hope more retirement homes do the same, there are so many gorgeous retired Greyhounds out there wanting homes.

thats brilliant i wish they would all do it ,its brilliant idea ,for the ,old folks ,which have allways ,lived with dogs .what a smashing brilliant thing to come up with look at all the dogs ,who would get a lovely new home

That's a brilliant idea, there will be loads of old people in home who miss having a dog terribly. Good old Derek, i bet he's spoilt

Great idea for the home to adopt the dog. All the residents benefit and so too the dog.

What a great story. Such a good idea - if I ever have to end up in a care home, I would love to think there would still be a dog around.
