Easter walk on Formby beach and dunes....

Just got back from walking Bailiie on the beach and in the sand dunes at Formby.
Seems in places like vandals have been out burning the grass; it smells very fresh and looks terrible, what a shame... Why do people do this?

Bailiie found something exciting to stand on amongst the shells and other rubbish....

And a few of her in the dunes....

And this one was after she came running back to us, totally mis-judging the "reed filled pond" and landing straight in it! She did look a little worried but was ok when back on dry ground

At least she looks happy and she did have fun
Happy Easter

Thank you Brandykins, she did enjoy herself, probably all of it except the shock of jumping unexpectedly into the pond!

Darcy Boy, it does make the dunes look a mess, I can't understand folk wanting to do that, spoiling it for everyone else. Bailiie had a good inspection of it anyway

Gosh I bet it was cold Michelle
Bailiie doesn't seem to mind the cold though, too busy pottering in the dunes to notice I guess .

The weather wasn't too cold Meg, but I reckon the pond Bailiie plunged into was probably very cold
She didn't seem overly bothered by it though but she did get a big rubby down once back at the car, to dry off. She's now crashed on the settee curled up next to me, she's zonked

Thanks Jenny.g - Bailiie loves it so much in the dunes whether it be these ones or the ones closer to home

It's a great place Shane, plenty of space for zoomies too; I just don't enjoy the scattered shells and rubbish on the beach, much prefer Cornwalls beaches but they're just a bit far for a walk!
