Amazon logistics

This is now the main delivery service used by Amazon. Started up late last year and already managed 1700 approx complaints about delivery failures. I only found out when they lied saying they tried to deliver a parcel to me today and didn't turn up. So if ordering from this company Amazon INSIST they use another delivery company.

I have to express my astonishment that a company as big as Amazon with this number of complaints still use AL with the worst track record of any delivery company in the UK

This is a shame because I have had nothing but praise in the past for all things Amazon. Ordering, service, delivery, the whole process has been second to none.

Surely Yodel are worse, they certainly are around here. I stopped using Amazon after a few issues with delivery and prime.

I have found DPD the best for delivery, as mentioned Yodel also must be a front runner for the worst delivery sevice as well

Can't say I have had any problems with amazon deliveries my heart sinks when I hear yodel are delivering though !

DPD are fab and if they can do it so should the rest.

Just had an almighty row with Amazon about the delivery and guess what?it worked. Delivery driver moaning like hell he had to go half an hour journey out of his way to make my delivery.
If he had done it in the first place etc. Terrible service and attitude of the driver

In all the time I have ordered from Amazon only once has something gone missing [everything is sent by mail] and I was offered a refund or replacement.

Have to agree, yodel and amazon logistics have to be the worst two delivery companies I have had the misfortune to encounter, have had loads of next day deliveries turn up late, and with amazon logistics a tablet computer. Never arrived at all, though the driver claims he remembers delivering it, though when pushed they could not provide a copy of the signature they claimed to have, ok amazon have refunded the money but not the point, I have lost count of the arguments I have had with amazon over yodel, even though I have now moved the service hasn't improved, so the problem isn't the local depot. DPD and Royal Mail seem to be the best both here and at my previous address, City link seem to be a total disaster as well.
