Hi all.

He is slowly eating a little more and drinking. He's doing well and all being well he may escape tomorrow (touch wood, fingers crossed).

The consultant today said that the operation was massive as the gall bladder was extremely bad and it was touch and go for a while (glad they didn't tell us that until today) so it's going to be convalescence for a few weeks I imagine.

It's such a relief he's coming home. The 60 mile a day round trip on top of keeping Gary's routine as same as possible is exhausting. At least with Dave at home things should ease up.

Many thanks for all your good wishes. You see, they do work xx
