House woes

Our buyer wanted us to make a dodgy deal last night before he would buy our house.
Both solicitors and estate agents advised us to pull out, as what he wanted was illegal.

So sadly, the week before we were due to move, we have to start all over again.

Good news is we actually have a viewing booked for tonight.

Keep your fingers crossed for us, please. x

Thanks Hali - I've felt quite miserable today, because we were told in the 7 weeks he's strung us along, prices have tumbled again and they want us to drop our price another £7-£10k

Last night's viewer was keen, but hasn't returned the agent's call today

That is so annoying I know how frustrating these things can be. When we put one of our houses on the market 1st viewer in made us an offer of the asking price, we were pleased 2 weeks later no news of a Surveyor so agent chased it turned he hadn't and couldn't get a mortgage.
It sold though and didn't take too long after that.
At least you had a Soiicitor and Agent working in your interests, and not into looking at the commission and letting it slip through the net.
Fingers crossed for you it won't be too long.

Moving is just so frustrating. Maybe your viewer has just been busy at work and couldn't take the estate agents call? Hope you have some positive news very soon.xx
