Dog Show Cancelled!

Just found out today in the local paper that Durham County Agricultural Show is cancelled due to Policing costs!

Really gutted as this was Isla's first Agri Show and I was really looking forward to it. Oh well, guess we'll be wadeing though the mud on our walk as usual that day then!

Question is, will I get a refund?

Ohh how disappointing, Durham County Show is always such a great day out. That's such a shame.

You could ring the dog section secretary, maybe they are re scheduling the dog show separately for a later date.

You should get a full refund if they don't reschedule the show as it wasn't you who cancelled it!

Yeah I might try and give them a ring and see if they might reschedule it, although I doubt it when you read the news report.

What I don't get is why do the police need to be paid extra????

Surley they'd get paid just like any other job? Is red tape so bad that Police Officers have to be paid extra just to get them to do their job?!
