Yes that maybe the case, BUT labour had been in power and CAUSED it in the first place and that's why they got thrown out!

What if the boss doesn't listen H??? What if the boss treats people really badly? Then what?
Perhaps you have been fortunate enough never to have needed a union.
Unions ensure that people are treated fairly and that bosses don't become so money oriented that they forget about the rights of their workers.
They also ensure that the bosses don't put public safety at risk at times.

Its a bit much blaming a government for a peak in unemployment figures that occured 3 years AFTER they left power...

Just like thatcher and major(an even bigger joke) were in power the 18yrs yet some sections of society expected them(labour) to sort the problems left out in no time at all.
