dog activities Lancashire

Hi, looking for doggy sports to do with my Elkhound when he's recovered from his recent shoulder injury. The only local things I can find are flyball (he's not into toys) and agility which has a two year waiting list as it's the only one for miles. I would like to join (or start) a canine athletic club and try weight pulling, cani cross, lure coursing etc. Is there anyone else around Blackpool and Fylde/ Preston areas who would be interested in doing dog sports or starting a club? I would appreciate any help.
