shame your mum wont let you have a rat,, they are fab pets
rats like lots of space but do not need huge big cages, whatever you have the room for really and can afford, so long as it is big enough to accomodate them and you buy them some toys to keep them amused, with lots of cuddles, they are more than happy,

she is gorgeous Kimberley and dont worry that nemo doesnt like her, buffy likes watching our gerbils in the cage but put one near her and she thinks she can eat it
but when you are cleaning them she crys lol
