You know you dont live in a city anymore when out walking the dogs you see 2 horse riders buying ice cream from a van without dismounting .. lol

I know what you mean. I moved from the city to a village. We have a horse crossing! And also people say hello to you. If someone says hello to you in the city, you walk a bit quicker wondering whats wrong with them!

I'd say that was definitely true. When I moved from Manchester I remember calling my mum cos it freaked me out that people kept saying hello to me - I thought it was awful

We pass horses on the walk to school on the path/briddle (sp) way............. great until the child steps in the deposit that the horse left 2 mins earlier

lol - I must be lucky because where I live which is scotlands capital city, when I am out walking you do get people saying hello - and its not with a big issue in their hand !! LOL

You do still get some community within big cities !!
