Teeth clicking ?

What are some commane reasons for dogs to click thire theeth.My dad was telling me a story on how he seen dogs that do that often.I whould love to hear all the commeants

Do you mean like the over exaggerated sort of snap? My Bull Lurcher does it a lot, usually to try to goad dogs into playing or because he's excited/frustrated with us.

Oh yes, if you mean chattering type teeth they do that do draw an interesting scent further back to smell it better. Makes and females do it. Tonks used to do it when she had her anal glands emptied.

I used to have a female pitbull named dutches and when she whould come into heat it whould be hard to take her for a walk with out male dogs doing that when they met her so that sounds right
