I've actually seen a basset X labrador
God knows how the combination came about !
Mainly all black slightly shorter than a lab,had bowed front legs looked extremely bandy,2 back legs were brown as were his ears which looked as if they'd intended to grow up but then decided to droop down so they did infact look like schoolgirl bunches. He didn't have the droopy eyes but did have longer jowls than a lab
Suppose you could call him a Bassador or a Labraset

well i am being deadly serious now, i ahve seen a Pekingese cross Golden Retreiver.
He belonged to friends of ours, he was a bit bigger then a Peke say the size of a Cocker spaniel, and he had a muzzle a bit longer, and curly hair, but everything else was Peke.
He was laughable, poor old Artur

I saw on tv and in papers a few years ago about a Daschound which had successfuly mated with a Rottweiler bitch! It was accidental though as the owners never bothered getting either neutered because of obvious size difference.

The puppys looked everso bizzare. They had the Rottie head & body, albeit in minature-with tiny legs!!!

Also in the papers a few years ago a Chihuahua mated with a Great Dane (the dane was lying down!). The pup looked really bizarre!
