Its hard with him being his age, people dont want to take on dogs so old! Bless him, hes a sweet chap and totally deserves a lap home full of love.

Aww bless, I suppose people worry about vets bills etc more when it comes to the older dogs, although it wouldn't bother me. Its harder to get insurance on an older dog, my girl is 12 and I find it very hard now to get good deals on insurance for her, I almost always end up paying through the nose for it. I really do hope he gets a good home though love him

Yes. I guess people also worry about how long the dog will be with them. I am sure someone will love him, if not he shall remain with us, where he can enjoy what ever he has left of his life.

Well I was speaking to a lady with a new rescue dog yesterday and she said her previous rescue she had rehomed at 14! She only had him for a year but she said she made sure that was the best year of his life as he had been a cruelty case
I hope your little dog gets a good home too-at least he is small and there are more owners wanting small rescue dogs I would have thought?

We took on an elderly dog last year (he doesn't act it though) and would not hesitate to do so again when the time comes, so I am sure there must be lots of people out there who would love that little fellow. I do hope that he finds his forever home soon - he looks so sweet.
