Best treats ever?

Cage isn't very treat orientated at all, but sometimes I'd just like to reward him with something he really loves when he does something great in training.

what tiny treat can no dog resist?

Pet Project Pro Train, PAH do them is small tubes but I;ve just bought a huge tub. It is dried liver and heart cut into tiny training pieces. Another one my dogs like are Sea Biscuits from Fish 4 Dogs.
Both these treats are quite expensive but the dogs will work well for them and they don't seem to adversly affect the digestive system.

Well my 17 week old Leo Ivan is very food orientated. When I train in the house I use meat strips. When I train in the garden I use cheese and when we are outside he gets ham or chicken and ham role which he adores. I think the more distraction the tastier the treat needs to be.

Not sure whether it would be any good for training - but both my dogs go mad for Puffed Jerky - it is their favourite treat ever!

Liver cake or bits of chicken is the best of the best here.

Failing that I buy the puppy bones (soft ones tan and brown) from PAH 99p for a bag, and she loves them

Chicken pieces here mind you they seem to go down whole - no chewing - not sure how he manages to taste them

Liver, chicken, sausage, etc usually does the trick - and dogs are best trained before their main meal, as after the reward doesn't have the same effect...have fun!

Both of the training places I've been to have rated hot dog sausages, say they are great. The puppy is happy with his puppy biscuits that he is fed normally anyway (or for a special treat, the older dogs, because things taste so much better when you're not allowed them!) but the training people advised us to get some meat in, and said hot dogs would be good.
