(Video) Don't push your luck, little guy!

Giving both the dogs treats. All was well until Nigredo overstepped his boundaries and put his foot up on Jade's neck area.

She doesn't like dogs jumping or pushing her and almost always refuses to tolerate it. A quick glare and an (UGLY) snarl, and he backs off like a good boy.

I happened to be petting her and was able to turn her head quickly to help divert her attention back to me. She's done this to him a few times, and I wasn't close enough to do anything yet she didn't snap at him or hurt him.

I don't shout at her or confine her for doing this as I know it's moderately normal for a big dog to discipline a little dog for unacceptable/dominant behavior.

However; this is why I always supervise them. I moderately trust that she'd not hurt him as she generally seems to like and protect him, but I'm never sure when it comes to her because, as some people know... she's not always the friendliest dog.

It's funny though, he stands his ground here... confused, and if a cat hisses him, he runs like the wind!

I agree! That was the cutest thing ever. I just KNEW he was going to run, but he didn't. I mean if a cat hisses him, he takes off! He just sat there like... UMMMM, is there an issue?
