My 3rd show

I have started a little showing with Ebony in the last month and yesterday was our 3rd one they are only companion shows but they have given me the experiance and yesterday we got a 1st in non sporting
Ebony worked really hard despite the baking heat and then just missed out on RBIS because she started fidgeting and wouldn't stand still,I am very proud off her and hope she keeps improving.

Thanks everyone , I've been hard at the training since last sunday as im hoping to move on to the open shows next I just have to get her nails a bit shorter :smt100 before we can go any further.

Hi well done with ebony i too only started showing morgan a while back. His first show was a companion show and he got best puppy in show he was about 9 months. He too used to lose out because he would move just as the judge looked over at him or break into a gallop when i moved him. The times i had a judge say he is a lovely dog but needs a bit of training and will go further.He has got much better with ringcraft training and even got res best in match the last two times he has been in the final line up. Today i went to midland counties where he got 4th out of 6 i was a little disapointed that he didnt get qualified for crufts today but at least i know its worth another try. Not bad for a dog that was bought as a pet from a persons first ever litter who didnt even have an affix. She still doesnt know that i have showed him. Anyway getting back to ebony i wouldnt worry shell eventually calm down a bit. However i watched the limit and open class today and that contained champions and they all had character and were nt statues i was pleased to see even they had problems like you and i.
