oh my word

(I knew there was a reason why I don't do pups!)

Just keep repeating the mantra 'she will grow up and I will laugh about this in years to come'

Oh dear.
A word of caution..I know of 2 dogs that have died recently after eating the insides of bedding. It became twisted into their intestines. If pup is in chew mode...best to totally clear the decks methinks.

Ailsa, I agree, but gsdmad did say it was because she hadn't shut the crate properly...don't think she was expecting her pup to have full access to the house

well ripley has been my angel!! the perfect pup until today lol she hasnt shredded, chewed or messed at all- i know its my fault- she is usually in her crate when unsupervised! think the freedom blew her brain!

thanks for the word of warning ramble, is that the 2 flat coats from the same home that died?
she isnt left with anything like that normally!
and it doesnt look like shes eaten any- just made a mess and enjoyed diving in and out of the fluffy stuff lol.

one things for sure.... i will NEVER EVER forget to shut her crate properly again!

Maybe use a padlock? I know someone who had to padlock their Labs crate after a similar bout of destruction when he managed to open it himself...
