Good morning Moyra, Lynn and all who follow

Hope you are feeling ok Kelly and you too Hrvey

Dull but dry here. Have taken a chance and hung out some towels but if not dried can always go on the radiators. Also made some coconut biscuits which no doubt will disappear in record time

Hope all are well stay safe.

Morning
Yep....I am o.k, have a sore arm but I always get one of those after my flu jab anyway and I think I did after my tetanus too....if that's the worst that happens, all good with me!!
Expecting an Amazon delivery of light bulbs for my parents bedroom, other than that..... don't know what I have planned

Afternoon all.

The government did good getting in early with the orders. Something we would not I think of been able to do if still part of the EU. Although I stand to be corrected. Good on them.
Been to work this morning and been out with Gert back home home now; Having the remainder of the chicken allbeit cold today with a roast dinner catching up on my recording of the voice from last night. Holiday from work next week should of been in Madeira but hey ho all good.

I have also just hung out my work clothes so 3 of us on the line now. LOL

Well I think I agree with you Kazz. If we were still in the EU we would have been one of 28 countries ordering and you can be sure that there would have been a 'pecking order' based on country size, population, finance etc. and highly likely we would not have got the quantities required.

Of course this was never discussed during the Brexit negotiations, no one knew what Covid was, let alone how to deal with it, but the UK has been able to get it's orders in quickly and distribute when available, which has helped all of the citizens of the UK.

Proper proud of our country standing it's ground with regards the vaccine.
I have an absolutely terrible headache.....I think I had this after the flu jab so I can only assume it's something contained within it that my body doesn't like....small price to pay if it stops covid affecting me as badly as I would have been unvaccinated
