They are saying by March/April all over 50's will be vaccinated, my younger sister contacted me to say and I said that's you too now.

Moyra Have you considered contacting the GP regarding the vaccine? will he be having his jab, or is he planning on both of you staying in forever?

Just a thought? If as I have skim read briefly they run out of Pfizer vaccine surely they can't give a booster of a different one?

I think it's brilliant the speed at which we are all being jabbed, I feel very lucky to have been offered a jab

Not sure Brenda, I did hear something I think saying it wouldn't really Matter too much as it's the first one that mounts the biggest immune response

Apparently whilst not recommended, a second dose of a different vaccine is preferable to no second dose at all

Um not sure about that as my sister had a very bad reaction to a different one to me so hope not. Not happy if I can't have the same one. Right off to watch pirates of the Caribbean soon. Have a good evening peeps.

World opinion on the EU's threats to withhold the vaccine is already taking effect so I very much doubt we won't get enough supplies for second shots

The EU are absolutely nuts, we put our order in 3 months before them and now they are having a tantrum about it, their thoughts are that even though we ordered before them...they take precedence..... apparently ordering before somebody may work at your local butchers but in contractual law no.....errrrrr if we ordered before others then surely they are obligated to deliver to us first, bet you anything if it was us who hadn't ordered, the answer would be tough sh*t!!
